SOSAFE Premium is a subscription that auto-renews for a specific period of time (e.g. on a monthly basis). Subscribing to SOSAFE Premium allows you to get access to new features on SOSAFE and to other services depending on the premium plan you subscribe to.
Canceling your SOSAFE Premium plan is slightly different, depending on what payment method you used to subscribe.
If you purchased your subscription with your Apple ID, you can manage and cancel your subscription through your device’s Account Settings or in the Manage Subscriptions section of the Apple App Store. From there you’ll be able to select SOSAFE Premium from your list of subscriptions and cancel it.
If you purchased your subscription using Google Play, you can manage and cancel your subscription by visiting the Subscriptions section of Google Play. From there you’ll be able to select SOSAFE Premium from you list of subscriptions and cancel it.
We cannot make refunds after you have subscribed to a premium plan, but you can cancel your subscription before it renews for another period of time.
You can use all of our cameras without a plan. Live stream is accessible the moment you connect your camera to your Wi-Fi. However, a SOSAFE Premium Plan will take your camera’s functionality to the next level. You will get benefits such as cloud storage, adding more places and much more. Why is this important? Without a plan, if your camera gets damaged or stolen, you won’t be able to see what happened or who was responsible. Storing your information in SOSAFE’s cloud makes it more secure and reliable.
You can have as many cameras as you want. The cloud storage limit will just determine how many cameras you can have with cloud storage. You can add cloud storage to as many cameras your plan supports.
For example, suppose you currently have the Standard Plan, which includes cloud storage for up to 3 cameras and you own 5 cameras. All 5 cameras will operate normally, but you can assign cloud storage to only 3 of them.
The SOSAFE app requires an internet connection in order to send the reports effectively and provide the best posible user experience.
You will not be able to access the SOSAFE application. We recommend that you always try to have your smartphone charged and the application in an easily accessible place.
You can add up to 12 addresses with SOSAFE Premium. You can add addresses to see what is happening around your workplace, your kids school, your parents, friends and more.
Route alerts allows you to know what is happening around you anywhere you go. When Route alerts switch is on, SOSAFE will notify you of security reports that are been created around you, in real time as you move. This feature needs to know where you are so it can inform you about reports created nearby, and therefore requires location permissions. You can turn this off and on, anytime.
If you create an emergency report (i.e. report types of "Security", "Fire", "Ambulance") our 24/7 security central will be notified and will call you to verify the emergency. If you need help, our operators will inform local first responders (e.g. police, firefighters, ambulance) about your emergency and send help where you are as soon as possible. Note: this service is only available in Chile.
